We are pleased to announce our latest collaboration with the Octopus Electric Vehicles (OEV), one of the UK’s leading leasing and EV service providers. This partnership provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate and underscores our mutual commitment to innovation and sustainability.
The OEV fleet will be experimenting with ClearWatt’s groundbreaking technology as part of our initial trial. This exciting partnership was officially unveiled earlier this month at the Octopus HQ on Oxford Street, London. During this event, our Managing Director, Patrick Cresswell, and Product Manager, Cameron Brown, had the pleasure of presenting to over 150 OEV employees.
Central to this trial is our flagship product, EV Health Checker. Merging innovative physics and AI technology, our straightforward, self-service mobile app allows users to evaluate the battery performance and the normalised range of their electric vehicle without any hardware. Our core objective is to deliver transparent and unbiased insights.
For those new to the EV evolution, OEV has been pivotal in guiding drivers towards electric vehicles. Their recent milestone of delivering their 10,000th EV enables a reduction of 17,500 tonnes of CO2 annually. This fleet, a testament to their commitment to eco-mobility, aligns with their ‘Nearly New EV Salary Sacrifice’ scheme, which repurposes early returned vehicles.
